REPLY, HAILING FROM the Belgian city Antwerp. This band has been evolving for almost six years now, constantly growing more and more aware of what they want and don't want to play, looking for an own sound and style. And the result : an aggressive , fast, intense mixture of chaotic , complex parts and straight forward passion with screamed abrasive vocals, often compared to bands like Botch, Converge but also Jr. Ewing and Orchid. To the four individuals playing in it, the band is more than a hobby, it's an essential part of their lives. A means to release all the steam built up while trying to remain sane in an insane world.

SEPTEMBER 1996: four kids started to play music on someone's attic just for fun. As months flew by (and members as a matter of fact as well) plans were made for shows. Reply played it's first show on 19-4-1997 with 9 other local bands. Since that day the band played over 100 shows, with almost every local band and a large number of international bands like Shai hulud, Burst, As friends Rust, Heaven Shall Burn, Caliban, Catharsis, Unearth, Facedown, Jr Ewing and many more. Country boundaries have not proven strong enough to stop the exploration urge of the band, and as a result Spain, Austria, Germany, France, Holland, Switzerland, Luxemburg have been targeted. The live show has evolved into something which has become a Reply trademark (and for surprise's sake will not be exposed here). Just think intense, all over the place, full on, no holding back action, physically and mentally. The future looks very bright for the band, with loads of shows in and outside of Belgium, and billing on some of the large underground hc fests.

JUNE 2003: Sven - Reply's throat - decides to quit Reply. A new screamer is found in long-time friend and roadie Wim "coppi" Coppers. Merely 2 months later a new child is born: "Rage Scream Live", the new full-cd on circulation records. It will also appear on a gatefold LP by Semtex records. Plans are already made to play shows in Belgium, Netherlands, Spain, Germany, France,… Be prepared for some serious, intense and honest emotions shattering everything in their way.

FUCK EVERYTHING: this band is about more than just music. As mentioned before, it serves as an outlet. And not only musicwise, also lyricwise. No gods no masters, no subject is too holy that it can't be handled, be it something personal, social or political, if it upsets our minds too long, we'll write something about it. As a band we don't care about scene politics, trends or whatever, we'll do it our way, even if this means stepping on toes, or having to work harder or longer to reach something. We won't take the easy road, we'll stick to our own way.
